Faro Mine Remediation Project - Consultation Questionnaire

The Faro Mine Remediation team wants to know how you use the area around the Faro Mine site and what is important to you.

The Faro Mine Remediation Project team is moving forward with the development of a remediation plan for the Faro Mine site that will be submitted to the Yukon Environmental and Socio-economic Assessment Board (YESAB). Throughout the development of the Faro Mine Remediation Project, public consultation has played a critical role in helping to ensure the diverse interests and views of First Nations, Yukoners and other stakeholders are taken into account as the project moves forward.

The Faro Mine Remediation Project team is seeking your input to identify the key interests that need to be addressed in the environmental and socio-economic assessment of the remediation project. Your feedback will allow us to ensure that the project proposal is focused on the interests that are most important to you. Please submit your comments to the Faro Mine Remediation Project team by Monday July 10, 2017

The survey takes about five minutes to complete and is voluntary and completely confidential.
